David Savage is a leading UK and international construction lawyer, and a partner in international law firm Charles Russell Speechlys where he co-chairs the firm’s Construction & Infrastructure Focus Group. Mike Petrusky asks David about the role he plays in the firm’s own property and workplace strategy as he chairs the firm’s β€œWhere We Work” group which was established as an internal property strategy group shortly after the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. Mike and David pick up on an earlier conversation that they had during a panel for the WORKTECH β€œWork from Anywhere Virtual Conference”. They discuss the state of the world during the autumn of 2021 with return to offices, hybrid work and the war for talent in professional services firms. Workplace leaders must find a way to balance the business needs of an organization and the new expectations of the workforce, which has accelerated the evolution of agile working strategies.
