Weigum explains how change management is about striking a balance between culture, digital, and physical elements.
“You can have pockets of it. So, if the cultural and physical are working together, that’s really spatialization. If you’re doing your digital and cultural, that’s how you’re doing your digital culture. And then smart spaces, we have physical and digital,” he explains.

Facility professionals need a multi-pronged approach, including focuses on:

- Focusing on the human side
- Keeping a close eye on the clock
Gladney how he always invested in building connections with people, and he explains how he’s now seeing the return on investment. “There are so many FM practitioners that I’ve developed a relationship with that I can call on whether they’re still active or not. The business partners have been phenomenal as well.” He also talks about the need for leadership to pay attention to the people in their facilities.
But managing places and relationships is only part of the puzzle.
Gladney also shares his thoughts on time management and why he feels it’s so important for facility professionals.
