ATLANTA – Oct. 31, 2023Eptura, the global worktech leader, today announced the latest update to its Integrated Workplace Management System, Archibus. Interface improvements and feature enhancements included in this release will boost usability, security, and empower organizations to get the most out of the Archibus BIM Viewer.

Workspace bookings and visitors across all regions and industries will only continue to rise, according to Eptura’s Workplace Index report, leading to a growing workload and an expanded role for facility management teams. As today’s organizations evolve their workplaces to meet employees’ changing needs, facility professionals need easy-to-implement and flexible tools that help inform decisions to address current challenges and anticipate future needs.

“How to effectively manage facilities remotely has been one of the greatest issues facility managers have faced in 2023,” said Fred Kraus, Vice President of Product Management at Eptura. “As technology continues to evolve, facility managers need to stay ahead of the curve by investing in solutions that allow them to keep up with the ever-changing needs of their buildings and portfolio. The latest Archibus updates are focused on improved features that allow customers to have greater visibility into their assets, all while enhancing the user experience with a better, more intuitive interface.”

With the latest updates, Archibus users can now benefit from:

  • More advanced searching and filtering capabilities: The new version of Archibus makes it easier for customers to easily look through thousands of elements in a building model from BIM Viewer. Improved query of spaces and assets gives teams the ability to quickly search and find assets filtered by multiple levels, categories, families, and types. Users can now also identify space and assets updated within a particular time period by filtering Revit space and asset properties by date or number intervals.
  • New lease customization features: Improvements to the Lease Portfolio Console in Web Central give lease administrators the flexibility to customize and tailor lease data by defining new lease fields and promoting them to the Lease Console, or they can promote existing lease fields into their physical leases. Custom data fields let companies fine-tune the lease management process to capture more accurate and relevant lease information, so they’re better equipped to make decisions.
  • Improved levels of security: Platform Services maintain a secure and seamless integration with Autodesk, providing customers with a smooth, user-friendly authentication process and access to the latest Autodesk APIs and services. Migrating to the more advanced authentication standard also provides maximum network security protection, helping to safeguard sensitive information and mitigate potential security risks with ongoing cloud platform security scans, updates, and remediation.
  • Enhanced usability: Eptura is also launching a consistent brand experience across the Archibus platform to help organizations manage their data and assets more efficiently. With visual enhancements and a more intuitive interface, users can easily navigate the platform and quickly surface key information. To better support a diverse set of users, the new design incorporates accessibility elements such as color contrast, accessible icons, keyboard navigation, and alternative text descriptions. For facility managers, these improvements make it easier to streamline workflows, stay informed about assets and spaces, and get valuable insights with greater ease and speed.
