As Chief AI Officer, Larkin will lead Epturaโs companywide AI strategy, focusing on simplifying work, increasing productivity, and improving employee and customer experiences. The appointment is a natural progression for Larkin, who has led the companyโs AI Center of Excellence and its transformation toward a Frontier Firm operating model. She also brings extensive experience in global business operations and technology transformation, having previously held senior roles at Forcepoint spanning product, strategic program management, customer success operations, and technical support.
โAI creates real value when it moves beyond isolated experiments and becomes part of how a company operates,โ said Raj Batra, CEO of Eptura. โCreating the Chief AI Officer role reflects how central AI has become to our business. Nuala has been leading this transformation across Eptura, making her the right person to guide its next phase.โ
Microsoft describes Frontier Firms as organizations moving beyond AI experimentation to enterprise-scale transformation by embedding intelligence across the business while investing in the strategy, data, security, compliance, skills, and culture required to scale AI.
Eptura has put that approach into action by transitioning its R&D organization toward AI-native ways of working and identifying high-value AI use cases that can be incubated and scaled across the business. The company has already surpassed its goal of increasing internal productivity by 20% through AI initiatives.
The company has also applied those internal learnings across its product portfolio. Earlier this year, Eptura expanded Eptura AI, the industryโs most comprehensive suite of AI assistants and agents, helping organizations connect workplace, facilities, asset, visitor, and real estate data to improve business performance.
โAI adoption doesnโt happen when you give people new tools. It happens when AI becomes part of how teams work on a daily basis,โ said Larkin. โOur focus is finding where AI removes friction, proving what works and making those approaches repeatable across Eptura.โ
Epturaโs platform is built on Microsoft Azure and integrates with technologies including Microsoft Copilot, Places, Power BI, Outlook, and Teams. Eptura is also developing AI-powered experiences that allow employees and maintenance teams to interact with the built environment using natural language through Microsoft Copilot. These integrations are one part of Epturaโs broader AI portfolio, which includes its own assistants and agents that use connected operational data to help customers improve workplace and asset performance.
