Way to Work – Preparing Facilities for the Unexpected with Capital One’s Andre Jones | Episode 1
It’s the show’s “maiden voyage,” and Petrusky is joined by Andre Jones, a corporate real estate and facilities leader at Capital One. The traveling pair covers a lot of ground, including the evolution of the workplace and the challenges and opportunities of the hybrid work model.
Jones stresses how change is the only constant. He points to the rise of multi-generational needs and rapid development of new technologies.
What does it all mean for FM professionals? People need to see themselves as lifelong learners and stay adaptable. Also: What had been a good solution in the past might need some updating. The continued development of workplace strategies is crucial to meeting the evolving needs of employees.
One thing that hasn’t changed, though, is the need for human connection and relationship building in the workplace. Jones stresses the importance of creating environments that foster collaboration and allow for the development and achievement of shared goals.
