Eptura was formed through the strategic merger of Archibus, Condeco, Hippo CMMS, iOffice, ManagerPlus, Proxyclick, Serraview, SpaceIQ, and Teem. While the name Eptura was announced in 2022, the company traces its legacy to the founding of Archibus in 1982.

Eptura’s strategic alliance with and investment from Autodesk help connect design/build data with building and asset operations through integrated BIM and digital twin technologies, leading to smarter facility decisions.

  • What happened to Condeco?

    Condeco was acquired by Thoma Bravo and JMI Equity in 2021. It then merged with workplace and asset management technology company iOffice + SpaceIQ on Oct. 4, 2022, to form Eptura. In 2025 the Condeco software was renamed to Eptura Engage, reflecting its role as the core of Eptura’s workplace collaboration and employee experience tools.

  • Is Hippo CMMS still available?

    As of 2025, Hippo’s core features are integrated into Eptura Asset and Hippo CMMS is no longer available as a standalone solution. Following its acquisition by iOffice in 2019 and incorporation into the Eptura organization in 2022, Hippo’s interactive floorplans to visualize asset locations and track maintenance are now part of Eptura Asset.   • What is the new name for iOffice?

    In 2023, iOffice was renamed Eptura Workplace. After Thoma Bravo became its majority investor in 2021 and rebranded the combined organization as Eptura in 2022, iOffice’s capabilities in space planning, office moves, and mail/copy/print management were integrated into the unified Eptura platform.

  • Can I still use ManagerPlus?

    Yes – the new name for ManagerPlus as of 2023 is Eptura Asset. Eptura Asset combines the maintenance capabilities already available in ManagerPlus with advanced functionality like digital twin integrations and a new technician app, as well as an innovation roadmap leveraging AI for a natural language field services copilot and to optimize asset life cycles.

  • How does Serraview differ from Eptura’s other space planning solutions?

    Serraview is a strategic occupancy tool which includes sophisticated visual block and stack functionality so enterprises can optimize their real estate across multiple facilities, campuses, or countries. SVLive leverages wired and WiFi infrastructure to provide desk-level location data that feeds Serraview’s utilization dashboards and informs advanced scenario planning. CRE services providers use Serraview for its ability to manage highly complex real estate portfolios.

    As part of the Eptura platform, Eptura Workplace also offers space management and is often used by in-house space planners for floor-by-floor workspace assignments, team-based neighborhood creation or departmental chargebacks aligned with move management tickets or other office service requests. Serraview and Eptura Workplace differ from SpaceIQ, which allows organizations to perform simple space management tasks without the need to import polylined files.

  • Does SpaceIQ still exist?

    Yes. In 2020, SpaceIQ became part of the Archibus Serraview organization when it was acquired by JMI Equity. The combined company selected SpaceIQ as the overall brand for the business and continued to use the SpaceIQ name (shortened to SiQ) for the original software. In 2021, SpaceIQ merged with iOffice, and the following year the company merged with Condeco to form Eptura. Organizations continue to use SpaceIQ by Eptura for simple space management.

  • Who owns Teem now?

    In 2020, Teem was acquired by iOffice, which later merged with SpaceIQ (2021) and Condeco (2022) to form Eptura. Companies continue to leverage Teem by Eptura for simple workspace scheduling, conference room displays, and lightweight visitor management and workplace analytics.

  • What are some of the advanced features of Eptura Visitor?

    Eptura Visitor (formerly Proxyclick) offers advanced visitor management capabilities such as automated check-in, facial recognition, emergency management, QR code access, and seamless integration with Eptura Engage workspace bookings. These tools enable organizations to manage visitor access with precision, maintain regulatory compliance, and create a seamless and secure environment for employees and visitors.
